when i go on my pc, i can host server, people can connect etc...
when i try it on my server pc, i get: client connect: failed or so,
all ports forwarded on router, afaik olso on firewall of pc :s
i have tried alot of things i could think of, but still no luck :s
the server has a fresh install of xp home w no antivirus

hi, somewhere on the site of windows is a online tool, wich tests your pc and a gauge then tells how good or bad ur pc is,
does any1 have that link?

all i hadto change was LOD reduction

with old pc: +- 60fps when full details 35fps
new pc, 340 fps, with lowest settings, 230- 280fps with fulls fps
and its with an old card!! mine has yet to come weee
what should i set to get best details?
20 cars Fernbay black at start= 50fps
in race: 70 fps in crowd :s still good
and sometimes hangs around 150 fps

ok,
i got my new pc
happy me putted the new hardware in with alot of care,
then inserted xp cd, installing, all goin fine,
then after license key, i press next, then it says about computer nameu can edit) i press, next, no next, it freezes :s

what could be the prob?
if u need more info, just ask :smust be my lucky day!!

ok, since the vid card just wont arrive, my dad is going to the shop for the other parts, if the vid card has arrived its coming home, else i gotta wait

the keyboard is too expensive, i dont wanna spend 100€ on a keyboard

ok, since i'm getting a new pc i want to get a new mouse and keyboard.
i only found logitech and benq for mouses, the price is max 55€ its for ma xmas, a friend is buying it for me.
i'm right handed mouse user, i shall use the mouse for gaming and precision picture editing, it needs to be comfy in my hand. i see that all mouses r wireless, but i dont want to use batterys, it needs to have a desktop thing where u can put the mouse in to recharge.

msi came with a new motherboard based on the 790fx. the new motherboard supports 4 pci-e card, crossfire 7.1 surround etc...
its the msi K9A2 Platinum
msi claims that it will support the new amd quad core wich will be introduced in november!
in 2008 amd will introduce a new cpu called: Phenom 9-cpu
with ht bus clocked higher then 4ghz!!!

the motherboard olso has 6 sata 3gb/s connectors
it has 1 pci 1x slot,
4 pci-e slots,
2 of them 16x and 2 8x.
for quad core cards it supports 8x per card at a transfer rate of 4gb/s

MSI heeft met de K9A2 Platinum het eerste moederbord gepresenteerd dat AMD's nieuwe quadcores ondersteunt, zo claimt het bedrijf. Met veel features en de nodige overklokfunctionaliteit mikt MSI duidelijk op hardcore gamers.
De K9A2 is gebaseerd op de 790 FX, een chipset uit de RD790-serie van AMD. Deze telg biedt 52 pci-e-lanes, maar die worden niet allemaal gebruikt: naast twee x16-slots zijn er twee x8-slots aangebracht, en voor quad crossfire worden de vier x16-connectors zelfs allemaal als x8-slot ingezet. De hogere doorvoersnelheid van pci-e 2.0 zorgt er echter voor dat er nog altijd 4GB per seconde met elke videokaart kan worden uitgewisseld. Daarnaast is er voorzien in een enkel x1-slot en twee klassieke pci-sleuven.
De 790 FX levert ondersteuning voor alle Phenom-, Athlon- en Sempron-cpu's die een AM2- of een AM2+-voetje hebben. De K9A2 is echter vooral bedoeld voor de nieuwe Phenom, die volgende maand op de markt moet verschijnen.
